Who I am
Task Automate is a UK-based automation consultancy. For personal information that I collect and use for my own business purposes, I am the data controller.
If I provide automation services to your business and process personal data on your behalf as part of that work, your business will generally remain the data controller and Task Automate will generally act as a data processor. The specific arrangements will be set out in the agreement I make with you, where applicable.
Information I collect

- Information you provide when making an enquiry or discussing your business requirements.
- Information relating to projects, including relevant business and technical information.

I only ask for information that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
Information submitted through contact forms
When you contact me through my website, I use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, discuss your requirements and, where appropriate, provide consultancy or automation services.

Client and project information
When providing automation consultancy and implementation services, I may need access to business systems, software accounts or production data.
Where this involves personal data that your business controls, I will process that information only as necessary to provide the agreed services and in accordance with your instructions and the contract I agree with you.
Where practical, I work with software accounts and systems controlled by the client rather than requiring client data to be transferred into systems owned by Task Automate.
Access will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the work. Where appropriate, access may be provided through individual user accounts, delegated access, OAuth, API credentials or similar methods rather than sharing passwords.
I will not use client production data for my own marketing or unrelated purposes unless there is a separate lawful basis for doing so.

Where client personal data is processed as part of an automation, the relevant software providers may also process that data. The services and data flows involved will depend on the automation being built and, where required, will be agreed with the client.

Access to client systems and information is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the services being provided.
No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

- Ask me to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
